frequent disconnects...

I have a user today who informed me that he has had a dozen or more
disconnects from his home connection to our Windows 2003 terminal server.

Another user has reported NO issues. I suspect the issue for this one
employee to be related to his own personal internet connection.

Is there anything that can be modified on his home pc (i.e keepalives) or
something to prevent the RDP 5.2 protocol from disconnecting as frequently
as it does when it sees a blip in communications??

I seem to recall configuring keepalives on the terminal server way back when
to help prevent against this or at least limit it but I just wonder if there
is something that can be done at his end at all...

Thanks, Brad

How is he connecting? Through a VPN or are you port forwarding on your office
router?
