Even though I am in the remote desktop group, it keeps telling me that I need
to be in that group to login. The only way I can login is if I am in the
admins group.

I assume that the OS on the Terminal Server is Windows 2003?
Can you post the *exact* error message that you receive?
What is the role of your Terminal Server, member server in a domain
or workgroup, or is it a Domain Controller?
