Hi!

A quick problem for you all. We have 1x Win2003 TS Server. Clients are
Win2k sp4, using latest rdpcli.

When I create new users, or even some older users (we had our TS Server
swapped in Jan due to h/w issues) they only get their %username% folder
created in C$\documents and settings. They should be getting username.domain
name folder as well. Otherwise I can't seem to manipulate their desktops via
the desktop directory.

Any ideas on this please as it's causing me some aggro :/

Thanks all!

Hi Chris

I can't help with your problem, but I can tell you that I've had this
problem too. Even when I'm not using TS in any way! On a normal Windows XP
Pro workstation, joined onto a domain, I sometimes see username.domain and
other times just username.

Look forward to seeing if anyone else can shed any light on it!

The %username% folder appears in the following scenarios:
1 - PC not part of domain
2 - User signs on as domain user when never signed on as local user

The %username%.domain folder appears when:
1 - local user signs on, and then signs on using same username as a domain
user. Example: Sign on as Administrator (local) before joining domain.
Join Domain. Sign on as Administrator using the domain credential. You will
see both a C:\Docs...\Administrator and a C:\Docs...\Administrator.domain
folder.

Hope this explains...
