TS Session disconnecting

Hi There,

We have a situation where when a user connects with a user (lets say test1)
and while he is connected another user connects with the same username, the
first user gets the message "The remote session was disconnected because
another user has connected to the session" and then gets disconnected. This
is running on a Win2k Terminal server with more than enough licenses to go
around.

Is there any way to stop this from happening and allow more than one user to
connect with the same username and password ?

Thanks in advance...

Strange.
If this was on a 2003 TS, the answer would be:
set "Restrict each user to one session" to "No" in Terminal
Services Configuration. Alternatively, set the "Restrict Terminal
Services users to a single remote session" group policy to
"Disabled".
But this setting is not supported in W2K TS. The only way I know
to limit users to a single session in W2K TS is by means of a 3th
party utility, like LockSingleUser, from thethin.net/r25b.zip

Are you sure that there is no 3th party utility running to prevent
multiple connections?

My apologies. I meant to say W2K3.

This has sorted out the issue.

Thanks
