Hi Everyone -
We are testing remote access using RDP and Shadowing
of the console.
It works great - UNTIL - the console user locks the screen
or the screen saver kicks in and locks the console.
I've read that the ctrl-alt-end will do the same as ctrl-alt-del
and bring up the security panel -
BUT IT ISN'T WORKING.
I've tried two keyboards, and accessed the remote dekstop from
XP and W2K EE, but no worky worky.
Am i missing something, or is there a workaround or patch?
thanks
tony
EDIT - Sorry W2K EE should read W2k3 EE

As the KB article says, this hotfix is not available for general
download. Just phone Microsoft Support and ask for the specific
hotfix. If you don't ask any other support questions during the
same call, you will get the hotfix mailed to you without any costs.

Or install SP1.

Check this hotfix (is included in SP1)
Does Ctrl-Alt-End bring up the normal security window when you use
it in an active rdp session?
If it doesn't then your problem has nothing to do with the hotfix
issue, since that problem was a rights issue.
