Using old PC as TS client
(too old to reply)

Hi all,

I am working for a school with a limited budget. They need to set up 10
systems for students and I thought about using thin clients (terminal
services). Since they have limited budgets, I thought I could use some of
their old PCs as the thin client machines. These machines have Win95, Win98
OS.

I want to set these up so that the uses never see the underlying OS. That
is, as soon as the machine boots, it goes into the thin client mode and
connects to the server.

Is this possible and if so, how?

Thank you

Nate

Take a look at Thinstation,
http://thinstation.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/ThIndex, it would work
much better that a thin client with win95 or win98 as a base system.
