Hi,
we have several servers with Windows 2003 Server and Service Pack 1
installed with the same problem.
After one or two weeks without problems the RDP connection is unresponsive.
I found the KB article 826139, which described this problem.
After getting the fix from MS, I saw that this fix is only for systems
without SP1.
The server will be responsive for normal shared folders, and it can be
restartet remote with the shutdown command.
But a side effect is, that this computers are Domain Controllers and can not
replicate any more if they are unresponsive for RDP.
Is there any help on this problem?
Regards
Florian

Sounds as if you need this instead:

898060 - Network connectivity between clients and servers may not
work after the installation of security update MS05-019 or Windows
Server 2003 Service Pack 1
