I used to connect from my XP box to a windows 2000 server using Remote
desktop connection from my XP box and never had any problem. Yesterday
morning, Windows server 2000 stopped accepting connections. I can ping
my windows 2000 server machine from my XP box, I can even map drives
but when I try to connect using remote desktop connections, it
complains and says:
The client could not establish a connection to the remote computer.
The most likely causes for this error are:
1) Remote connections might not be enabled at the remote computer
2) The maximum number of connections was exceeded at the remote
computer
3) A network error occured while establishing the connection
I have tried everything but still doesnt work. I rebooted both the
machines alot of times but nothing works. Please help.
Thanks,
