We access a windows 2003 terminal server via rcp and allow access to the
client local drive. The problem is, all the network shares show up too when
we check the disk drives on local resources. I'd like for it to only show
the actual local drives (ie c and d) and not the shares.

Local drive redirection is an "all-or-nothing" feature in native
Windows rdp sessions.
Citrix allows you to redirect only some of the local drives, there
might be other 3rd party add-ons which can do the same.
