We have a NFUSE 1.7 box running atop of Windows 2000 Server with Terminal
server. I have a couple of MAC users that connect just fine, but I have one
running Panther that can not connect. We use a HTTPS connection with a self
created security certificate. So first he gets an almost endless loop of
making sure that he wants to continue with an unsigned certificate. Once he
finally clicks YES the appropriate times, he finally logs in and then
selects the appropriate icon, but he never gets anywhere. My boss is
telling me it probably is a Term Serv issue and that we need more Mac
licenses. I can not find anything to that affect and that is all he can
remember, he did not actually install the box. Any help would greatly be
appreciated.

Is there anything in the EventLog on the TS when this happens?
Have you checked in TS Licensing manager if you have a free TS CAL
available?

I do not have a free TS CAL, but how do I free one up? Some of the machines
listed in the CAL list have not been associated with our network for 3
years.

If you installed (some of) your TS CALs before W2K SP3, then these
TS CALs are permanently issued to devices. This problem was fixed
in SP3.

To get those licenses back, you will have to phone the
Clearinghouse. They will reissue your licenses.
