I have a Windows ME client that I'm temporarily using to access my Windows
2000 server by using Terminal Services Client. The temporary license for the
TS client is going to expire in a few days. I won't be able to change out the
ME box with an XP box within this time. My question is this: Can I renew or
give the ME box another temporary license until I can change it out. TIA

No, you can't. Temporary licenses are issued by the TS Licensing
Server, you can't issue them manually.

OK but there has to be a way I can reset the license so I can use it for
another 90 days. I realize they are called temporary licenses for a reason
but I'm sure there's a workaround for this.

There is a registry key that you can delete that will make it give you
another 90 day temp license. If you do a search at the MS KB you should be
able to find the article on it. I don't have to look at the moment but if
you can't find the article let me know here and I can look tomorrow.

You are aware that this is a violation of the EULA, I assume?

I had not realized that. Thanks for pointing that out. I've decided to
permanently fix the issue by installing XP Pro on the machine. Thanks
everyone for the help.
