I am getting the following error:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Winlogon
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1219
Date: 12/20/2004
Time: 3:42:02 PM
User: N/A
Computer: DLC-ALP-CTX02
Description:
Logon rejected for <I have removed my username>. Unable to obtain Terminal
Server User Configuration. Error: The RPC server is unavailable.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
Data:
0000: ba 06 00 00 º...
I have checked the articles on eventid.net and they do not seem to apply.
Here is why:
1. I have a pptp connection to the network, although it affects people on
the local network as well - in other words, no firewall.
2. I am a Domain admin and the domain admins are part of the local admins.
3. There is only 1 network adapter in the machine and I am not running
VMWare on it.
4. This is in a native w2k3 domain environment.
Any suggestions?
Cole.
