I have a client with a 19" TFT who wants to have his TS session window
displayed in full screen - is there a limit on the size of the user
display? - he tells me he can only run in a window even after settting the
window size to full.

The maximum settings for RDP 5.1 or higher are 1600x1200 @ 24 bit color.
