I have a windows 2003 terminal server. It has been running a couple of
years. On it a HP 5100 network printer is installed. This printer has worked
fine for all 20 user for a couple of years. I have one users where this
printer operated perfectly for 1 year, 364 days but today he is unable to
print to it. The 19 other users have no issue.
He can print to it from his regular desktop. On the remote the print job
shows a status of spooling then goes to a status of nothing and just sits
there. Normal operation would show the job change status from spooling to
printing to deleting. This is the case with the 19 other users. All drivers
the same, all clients winxp pro. Removed and reinstalled the printer on the
regular desktop of the 1 problem user, but no luck.
Any ideas what could have happened and how to correct? Again, works fine for
19 users, not at all for 1 user. All users same PCs, same OS, same drivers,
etc. This 1 problem user prints fine to HP 2200, Hp 4600 just not 5100 but
previously printed fine to all for 2 years.
