Wndows 2000 Server - Application Server mode
Event ID 22
The Terminal Services Licensing server WIN2KSERVER has no license pack
registered for product 'Windows 2000 Terminal Services Client Access
License'. Use Terminal Services Licensing administrative tool to register
the licenses pack.

According to the Terminal Servces Licensing snap-in, we have an existing
Windows 2000 License; Type - Built in; Total - Unlimited; Available -
Unlimited.

I thought Windows 2000 Server in Application Mode did not require any CALs
for Win 2K or XP clients. I thought this was the big TS difference between
2K & 2K3.

Is this trying to tell me I have no choice but to purchase CALs?

TIA.

I should also note that the TS Licensing snap in shows the server as activated.

Are all of your clients running W2K Pro and XP Pro? Not the Home
editions?
Has the TS Licensing Server issued any temporary licenses?
Can you run lsview and lsreport from the Resource Kit to see what
they report?
