Printing from wrong tray

Here is the situation.

Windows 98 client to 2003 Terminal server

User has Tray 2 and Tray 3 on an HP printer installed on her local computer.

When she prints locally the printers print to the correct tray.
i.e. tray 2 will print to tray 2 and tray 3 will print to tray 3

Problem

When she connects to Terminal services it will install tray 2 and tray 3 for
her to print to.

When she tries to print something it will print to her printer but will not
print from the correct tray.

i.e. she chooses to print to tray 2 -- it will print out of tray 3. if she
chooses tray 3 it will print from tray 3.

I have looked at the printer settings in her ts session and it has defaulted
the printer's paper souce selection back to automatic. Is there anyway to fix
this to when a user logs in it will print to the correct paper tray.

I hope this makes some sense.

Thanks

When you start a Terminal Services session with a local printer
connected to your client computer, a redirected print queue is
created in the Terminal Services session for your local printer.
The print queue uses a set of default printer settings that are
determined by Terminal Services.
The local printer settings that you define or change offline are
not used by Terminal Services. This is caused by the fact that the
current printing model does not support detecting changes to the
Device Settings tab for each redirected printer.

So it's by design that your local printer settings are not present
in your TS session. But once you change the settings on the
redirected printer, they are stored in the user profile and should
be in effect in the next TS session. Note however that you have to
use a workaround to make them "stick":

Change to Server-Side Device Settings Tab
