Accessing Apps via Terminal Services

I am looking to access a server on the local domain via remote desktop via
terminal servers application mode. Will this work with the required TCAL's?
Can you limit what the user can access on the server. Is there a way to test
this before purchasing licenses in the event it does not work?
Thanks

The licensing requirements for Terminal Services (in Application
mode) depend very much on the OS on the server (W2K or 2003) and
the clients (W2K Prof, XP Pro or other).

Whatever your combination of server and client OS, yes, you get a
grace period of 90 (W2K) or 120 (2003) days. In this period the
system will run on temporary licenses.
