Are you trying to connect to a Terminal Server?
Does it run W2K or 2003? Is Terminal Services installed on the
server?
Can you ping the server? Are you on the same LAN as the server, or
are you trying to connect over the Internet?
Is the server listening on port 3389 (run the command netstat -a to
check).
Is there anything in the EventLog on the server?
