Terminals Server Licensed to be moved

Good Afternoon,

Curently I have my TS licenses install on one of three DC's. The DC is
currently Windows 200 server. We need to rebuild this DC and bring it to
Windows 2003 Server. We also run Citrix here in a Winmdows 2000 environment
which requires the TS licenses.

Can I move my TS licenses from one DC to an already completed 2003 Server
DC. If so what are the procedures?

registry and the Terminal Services licensing server database is
backed up.

the operating system on the computer. Otherwise any unissued
licenses are not restored and an event will appear in the system
log providing the unissued count. You can still restore the

You can switch to the Telephone mechanism by right clicking on the
server in TS License Manager, and selecting properties from the
menu.

In short: install TS Licensing Server on a 2003 DC and phone the
Clearinghouse to get your licenses reissued.
