I have a licensing server setup and people were logging into TS before the
licenses were added, so the licensing server was issuing temp licenses which
are about to expire. Now that the real licensing is installed, will the
licensing server had those out when the temps expire without any user input?

The license server should start to issue permanent licenses to your
clients as soon as they are available (i.e from now on). If it
doesn't do so, check your EventLog for messages.

Which OS are you running on the TS and the LS? If 2003, which type of
licenses have you installed, Per User or Per Device? Is the TS in the
same licensing mode as the type of licenses you have installed? Can
the TS locate the LS?

Even when everything is working OK, the temporary licenses will still
show up in the LS. Temporary licenses clean up after they expire.
The timeframe for this is 31 days after expiration.
