I'm trying to shadow the console and can not get it to work. I have tried
what is listed in the following article but am still getting error 7051 when
I invoke the "shadow 0" command.

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;278845

I have been able to shadow another session, but not the console session. In
addition to using gpedit.msc I also tried changing settings using the
Terminal Services Configuration tool under the start menu in windows 2003
server.

I'm using windows 2003 server standard edition for the server as well as the
client.

Any ideas on what to try or what could be wrong?

Have you added the remote user to the allowed
user list for the remote computer?

I tried that but it didn't help. I'm using logins with Domain Admin rights
which appear to have rights by default anyway. I've been able to shadow a
user session, but not if the user session is the console session.

I'm using Windows Server 2003 with SP1 in case that makes a difference.
