Hello! we have HP deskjet 3500, connected to the workstation. after
connecting to the server with RD, the printer is not connected, even though
the checkbox "connect automatically to these local devices when logged on to
the remote computer". Successful attempts have been with Okipage 800 and
Okipage 4w. Is there any possibility to use this particular printer for
remote desktop sessions ? Workstations with Win2k and WinXP equally fail with
this printer. I found that remote desktop connects only with the "native"
printers of the workstation's operating system, is this true ? thanks,

is the deskjet 3500 driver installed on the server?
if the driver isn't there on the server, an error should appear in the
eventlog on the server under source termserv stating the driver is unknown
(because it isn't there)

The HP DeskJet 3500 is a host-based LIDL printer and is not going
to work within a TS session, as documented here:
